The full competition schedule for the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup in Spain has been released.
FIBA’s flagship event tips off at 12:30 local time (GMT+2) on Saturday 30 August withCroatia taking on Philippines in Sevilla’s Group B, while Ukraine squares off againstDominican Republic at the same time in Bilbao’s Group C.
The FIBA Basketball World Cup will culminate in the Fina
l to be played at 21:00 local time (GMT+2) time on Sunday 14 September in Madrid.
The times of the Group Phase (30 August-4 September) games in Granada’s Group A and Gran Canaria’s Group D (note that Gran Canaria’s time zone is GMT+1) will remain the same over the five days of that stage of the competition, while there will be slight variations in the times of the contests in Sevilla and Bilbao.
The Final Phase (6-14 September) will take place in Barcelona and Madrid.
The schedule for the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup was done to ensure an optimal fan turnout at every game, while also accommodating the demands of FIBA’s host broadcasters and broadcast partners.

Venue Passes are currently available and an additional number of these as well as Finals Passes will go on sale on Tuesday 15 April. Full details on this new availability of tickets will be communicated on Monday 14 April.
